So you ordered the blue one huh? That will be cool and different. Did you decide where you are going to put the display yet?

Yea, right between the tach and speedometer.
Thinking real seriously about ordering another tach housing, $89.00 from the dealer though and just building a mount to put it between and above the tach and speedo.
Probablly do that in the end.

It should fit real nice right there, just remove the chrome trim cover and she fits great.

The GiPro didn't increase the overall power and torque, it just let me use it in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I got the increases from all the suggestions here on the site, like PCIII, exhaust, triple filters, secondaries, dyno tune etc.

But I'll probally make the bracket,
that'd sure be easier than my new tank or this blasted fairing project..

Before I order my Gi Pro, I'd like some feedback on the visibility of the two available LED display colors. I would think that the red one one have an all around edge in viz both day and night times.!?! So, aside from looks, which is the better functioning display?

I only chose the red because the guages already have a red glow to them, I thought it would go better with them. As far as what's easier to read ... it auto dims so I wouldn't think there will be a problem with visibility in any color.

ordered blue because I leave for work in the middle of the night (0230)
and thought the red might distract from looking out for deers and other critters.

I installed the red one directly on top of the center nut under the gauges because with the Corbin fairing and windsheild bag I wasn'r able to see it. It was a real surprise to see that the thing dimed automaticly when it starts getting dark. That was a really cool feature that is not even mentioned in the letiture. I really like and enjoy mine. No more checking to make sure I'm in 5th or in 1st at the stop lights.
