GI-Pro detailed instructions???

OK, I hate to revisit this issue, after so much input, but here's a new problem I just ran into: My GiPro stopped working on my R3T during my recent 10,000 ride around the US. In addition to the GiPro dying (it won't light up), the orange error (engine) light came on the indicator panel.

The following "generally" only applies to the Touring model (R3T), but you geniuses may be able to solve this problem, too.

When I got home, I saw that the pink wire had come loose....no biggie. I plugged it back in and the engine/error light went off. Also, the GiPro flashed on...then went out.

I checked all fuses and relays, just in case, but it still won't light up. If I unplug the pink wire and plug it back in, the GiPro indicator will briefly light up then go out.

Ideas? What am I doing wrong? It seems like a very easy fix, but I just can't get it.

Thanks in advance, fellas. Especially you, HellFire.

Why is that pink wire coming loose - that's all there is to fix.

I've just resolved a similar issue on my 2009R3. SEVERE bumps were joggling the fuse loose in the fuse holder. The GiPro was doing exactly what you report.

Ah, that it should be so easy! I'll go back and give it a try.

It's just that when I turn the bike on (via ignition), the gear indicator will flash on then immediately go out. Doesn't seem to eb a short, but it could be.

Thanks for the quick response.
