If I'm stopped at a traffic light, in 1st gear and the bike is kind'a trying to pull out, I give the clutch cable 1/2 turn away from the locking nut. My error has been that I do not tighten the whole thing well and it slacks back off. Just love 1/8 with large pliers while holding the cable and nut.
