getting used to it!

Nice 109
Still got it or traded in?
I sold it and bought an X1 but never fell in love with it. The 9 went to a good home.

I rode several victories when I started looking for a better bike.
Never fell in love with any of them, although they are very nice!
Hope you love the new rocket :)

Welcome and do enjoy :) (I've always liked your previous Suzuki model )

Do you feel any "justified" protection with the screen of your GT ? (I'm waiting for my R -due in April- and I expect to get the GT screen if there is a "justified" difference vs no screen). I know it is subjective but having an idea is better than none ;)

If you decide to measure the length of your R3, I'd be happy to know it. I have found nowhere this info. (even not on the manual) !?

I would hold out for a good aftermarket screen. Unless your gonna add a deflector... No sense wasting money for a small difference. Can always swap out as weather dictates...

for me the screen is just a visual feature I like. Not that it would do anything on a long ride at all.
GT was just better suited for my style of riding, thats all really. everything else is just a bonus.
I never use a screen, if I want a screen I just have a full face helmet and thats my screen :)
rode few bigger Indians and Harleys with a screen and it drive me crazy. Too much buffeting for me.

I agree - I had it fitted to my R3-R purely for the way it looks on the bike. I've only done 100 miles on the bike, but I found it offers very little wind protection/deflection.

So far I had few days on the new Rocket3
still getting used to it and not pushing the limits
I can def say that its a mad bike and I am glad to own this beast.
coming from M109 there are not a lot of bikes out there that can make me smile.
This bike is another level in "cruiser" market.
Congratulations!

I have about 200 miles on mine, and i'm just working in to it. Straight up, if I lose respect for the power and the weight it won't be a good outcome. Spend your time just working up to it, that's what I am doing. I can already tell she runs a mean line in a corner, but again i'm just easing in to it. I figure it will take a good 1000 miles to really know how to use this machine. There's no rush, I'm enjoying the ride.
