406 cu in chevy engine ( 400 bored out )
et
10's let's just say , I lost to a trailered dedicated
drag car with window netting & drag slicks on a street
Money race by about 3 cars lengths & he had 9.90 ( shoe polished )
dialed in showing on his plexiglass windows , and
I had him half way thru 3 rd gear by 3 car , till he hit the juice !!!!
But I won a 1/4 street race against one of these http://cyclechaos.com/wiki/Image:1995-kawasaki-zx1100-d3.jpg
Impressive... 538 HP from a 406 engine in 1992! I didn't realize you drove your Anglia on the street... must have made for some freakin' fun Friday nights!!!
Could you see the ZX11 driver's face after you spanked him?
ZX 1100 ninja rider bought me a beer
and said he's never been beat by a car
on the street
Could have made anglia way more powerful was on
edge of making it 950 HP with a procharger, then thought
its fast enough for street , just wanted a fun fast streetrod , drove the car as seen in video clip from florida to Maryland on I -95 & back on a 9 day vacation
visiting bro , 2600 miles in 9 days and with OverDrive trans got 14 mpg cruising
7 mpg when it was open for business
Early/Late Speed Triples and Daytona's also sfuffered from the same problem of not
enough cam timing. Finished up my Speed Triple with slotted adjustable cam gears.
Same timing as Suzuki 1100 if i remember correctly. Still have a set of adj.cam/gears
if anybody needs some.
