Gel Seat And Sissy Bar Bags.

As you can see, I use the Classic dual seat. I have 2; 1 with back rest and 1 without. I find it the most comfortable seat I've had on a bike although after about 3 hours I need to start moving around a bit to stay comfortable. I'm sure there are better ones out there but I'm happy enough and they're great value for money. Some people hate them, especially if they're on the big side - I'm around 80kg.

And by the way, we had a Saddleman bag on the America. Amanda had it turned round on the pillion seat so it was also a backrest (there's one included with the bag). Great bag; got it from the States. Well worth a look.

You mean something like this (the large bag)? Can also be turned around to sit on the rack and expands upward by about 80% and the side pockets also expand out. Has a waterproof cover. It's an R-Jays. I can can get you one if you want.

That's exactly how I'll be setting my Rocket up CR3.I didn't know R-Jays made sissy bar bags. You must do a fair bit of touring with the bike set up like that, but that's why I've chosen the Roadster for my next bike.

I like the concept of the Kuryakyn stephantmi, especially the way it straps to the pillion seat.

This was how I set off for RDU at Hervey Bay last year. 1 of the saddlebags contained a couple of coffee makers and associated bits and pieces, for which I copped a fair bit of ribbing. I've had to include a pot stand as well after a recent mishap. . I don't do near enough touring. The thing about the Rocket is that you don't need to buy a bike with all the crap permanently attached.

If you're referring to baggers I understand. I like the look of some baggers but I don't think I'd ever own one.

Check out T-Bags too. I have a 2.5 cu. ft. expandable bag that holds about 1.5 cu. ft when not expanded.

Carries a fire extinguisher and an orbital disc sander ( to repair burn marks on counter tops ) nowadays . Always has a lazy 50 in his wallet to pay-off motel owners as well. Travelling with Richard is never dull

This is what I use, Oxford lifetime luggage. All in black though.
X40 tail pack. What's cool is that it has straps that wrap around the pillion seat and it expands to 40 litres. Extremely versatile. When you want to take it off you just unzip it from the mount and throw it over your shoulder. No rain cover rather an internal dry bag. On the sissy bar I strap on of my medium size day packs, good for a week of "stuff". I don't waterproof anything, I use internal dry bags you can purchase at any camping store. All I can say is the oxford tail pack is an outstanding piece of kit.
As for a gel seat, have you considered doing it yourself?

I use a sissy bar bag that rarely comes off the bike to hold a few essentials.
