Gearbox blokking problem

Job is done !
With the help of forummember Kievit and Non member Bob we rebuild the machine. Put in new oil and new Cooling. I made a testride and the gearbox and clutch working great. We are proud that we fixed it !
Coming weekend we go out for a serious ride.
Thank you all for your advice and support. Was very helpfull. This is a great forum.

I have a 2005 R3 yesterday I was riding home and in 5th gear when I lost all gear change at the stick it is not engaging the gears. And is still in 5th gear. No lock up or anything like that just lost gear change.
Im presently at 154000ks. Any idea would be awesome Thanks. I want to do some work on her she has done well for me. I installed Barnett Clutch 2 years ago now. Done the rails and timing chain prob 5 years now. I have done some long hard ks but think my ability to ride my Cycle properly is why I've had a good run.
 
first thing to check would be detent spring. Sounds like it is the problem.
 
Looks like the problem I had with my gearbox three years ago.
On YouTube are some video's that explain step by step how to fix the detentspring.
Do find a way to lift your bike so you can work on it while standing (OR zitting on a chair)
