Not sure if this has been posted or not, but I picked this up the other day and put on the bike's handlebars. Nice little low-profile remote to open the garage door when I come back from a ride.

How did you get it to fit on our 1.25in handlebars?

I use the tailwind iq3 - about $90, but it opens my garage door automatically when I approach it on my motorcycle (or car - can create different pairings), and closes the garage door once I leave - works well

I have the doormate 2 also, but I have it oriented down to keep it more hidden so it doesn't work as well as it should. My other bike is a Sportster fitted with the HD garage door opener. So this past weekend I got another transmitter and did some backyard engineering, and viola! i can now flash the high beam to operate the garage door

I installed a little controller that lets me flash my high beams twice and it activates a garage door opener I hid under the flyscreen. Super happy with this setup. See my installation post here:

Any updates on this? I picked one of these up but haven't gotten around to installing it yet. My garage door opener has a very compact circuit board with a captive disc battery. Thinking I'll try to mount mine under the fly-screen and wire to the headlight high beam power. It would take a...

Sorry for the late reply...fits perfectly! I don't use the shim's that came with it.
