Those of you talking about the K1600's... dad and I just bought one of those too. May as well try and compare a ZX-14 with bags to the R3. Not even close to the same kinda bike. Only similarity is their both shaft drive and made by people across the pond. It has about 8-20 less trq (depending on what year you ride), but ~15 more hp. Weight is about the same, but again, cant compare it really. They compare to a Goldwing often, but that really isnt fair in many ways either IMO.
