Fuel Gauge Removal

Hi, Have an 08 Rocket that I am working on, new paint, chrome yoke, rivco risers etc etc. Want to get rid of the Fuel Gauge that was fitted by the previous owner. Happy with the item removal but what about the wiring, is it a plug & play?
