Anywhere between 6 and 10 litres/hundred kms seems "normal" for me. Round town I pretty consistently get 180kms out of 18 litres, but I'm still just getting used to it so probably turn the right hand a little more than I should. On the highway if I was being really calm I could conceivably get close to 400km from a whole tank. OK, OK, who am I kidding. This is early days though (just 70,000+kms), and I'm sure I'll settle down a little in due course. :D
Yeah right and I am Father Christmas:rolleyes:
I have been a global warmer since 1965 and the only reason I check fuel consumption is to make sure I can make distances between fuel stops ,
When my light comes on earlier than usual it just means I been having more Fun :whitstling::D

Thanks for your responses guys. Now that I know what it can do while I am sort of nursing it, I am so looking forward to giving it a big handful. Feeling more confident on her now. Can't wait for days off to run her through her paces.

Sounds normal to me for a Rocket, All will depend on your wrist! LOL and which conditions. In the city , it sucks much more than cruising at 110. When you open to 140+ say goodbye. Who cares, it is a Rocket! Enjoy :)
