Free unrestricted maps for Rocket R GT and TFC now online

I’m sure there are legal reasons to limit vehicles. My bike will do 147 and I’m ok with that but I don’t like being restricted on how fast I get there. Given time I might tune the new Rocket.

I don’t recall what the tuned numbers are on the TFC can someone enlighten me?

Danke

The TFC has titanium intake valves and a higher rev limit. Could be there is a relation.
So I would not try 7400 with a R or GT unless it is mine.
DNK's maps, for R and GT models, set the rev limit to 7400 rpm.
If you run your R or GT to 7400, let us know how it sounds when it blows up.
You might need to whisper that to DNK. Their maps for the R and GT set the rev limiter at 7400 rpm. I would imagine; nevertheless, that engines can safely exceed their (generally conservative) OEM limits by 5-6% without negatively impacting reliability as long as one does not overcook it, of course, or go there in neutral (under no load) to impress buddies at the local pub. I often hear inline-fours being bounced against the rev limiter, mostly immediately on startup. WTF - but I digress. If the R and GT can do 7400, then the TFC with its lighter valve train can conceivably do 7800 rpm.

Hoping someone has some insight here. Im installing the unrestricted tune via tune ecu and an obdlink lx, like I’ve done on my Thruxton 1200 before. However, the load gets to 100 percent, then even looks like it worked, but then a pop up box says download failed. Then turn to turn the ignition off for 5 seconds. Turn back on. Run recovery, but it does the same thing again. LCD screen but no fuel pump or ability to start bike. Headlight fuse is pulled. Bike is on a tender.
Helpppppp

Recent changes to TuneECU android app in an attempt to limit number of bikes that can be linked I believe to make more money. This is all conjecture on my part. What version of the app and android are you using? Some guys have like links to old versions of TuneECU and they seemed to help.

Most of the older bikes will not start with the headlight fuse pulled.
