Hello. I have a stock, comp werks and DNK Dyno run now complete. See below. Stock wheel HP/TQ 142/141. Exhaust only 152/147. Tune and exhaust 168/153. A final run flat out (not trying to match the stock fuel cutoff) produced 171.53/153.03. With the increased shaft drive loss and the very conservative Eddy Current/Brake style dyno this bike is making over 200hp/175lb/ft at the crank, surely. Glad to see my butt dyno was confirmed with the real thing.

Can you elaborate on the rev limit? Mine says it’s raised to 7400 (DNK tune). I have not hit the rev limit yet but my recent dyno run seems the operator closes throttle below 7000 so I am not sure.

Test it on the street. It would be interesting to know if some TuneECU functions don’t work on this bike.

I think the top speed limiter and other limits are present outside the parameters TuneECU can “see.” That’s my theory based on no evidence other than the bike clearly stops making power above the top speed limit. Dyno tech said when it hits top speed it rolls off big time.

The throttle is grossly restricted at WOT.

Think most of the new WC models don’t have the speed limiter or fan temperature under parameters.

Most interesting to see is that the torque figures (both before and after) are the same at 2,500 rpm and 6,000 rpm.

That's what's called "stomp."

No way. Try it on the highway in 6th if you dare. But for the rev limit, you’ll hit it in 1st so you’ll see if it sputters at 7000 rpm.

That 7400 rpm limit was made available on the base TuneECU maps for each of the R, GT and TFC, and accordingly also on DNK's and Penner's. Only DNK has moved the slider to 7400 rpm, but the bike still taps out at 7000 rpm nevertheless. It is of no consequence really if the bike develops maximum power at 6700 rpm. The TFC does 7400 off the showroom floor but also sports titanium Inlet Valves.

On your first dyno-run printout, maximum power seems to be reported (too early?) at around 6400 rpm, while on the second, it features (correctly IMHO) at around 6700 rpm.

The power loss from clutch to rear wheel is 11-12hp. If you want to know crankshaft-hp you have to add another 2%.
So a 170 rwhp Rocket 2.5 has about 185 hp at the crank.
