Found these in my gas tank.....

Yeh right so they dissolve at what rate for how long into what volume of what fuel?????? Oh well snake oil always sold and probably did cure a bunch of stuff and if its as seen on TV then it must be legitimate.
They don't dissolve. They act truly as Catalysts. the definition of catalyst

Most of the claims are (imo) bunk. But I was given one - tried it and it worked. So I bought some more (in case they wore out). If anybody wants one - Still have one or two. I even toyed with selling them when Spain banned leaded fuel and there were serious problems with the cheap additives sold here. But didn't.

I can't remember all of it - but the original patent was I believe a South African who "stole" the idea from Russia at the end of WW2. I have a recollection of a US company patenting a fuel hose for use in gas stations using the idea. I have a sneaking admiration for Russian technology but I did a lot of research before risking the Jag's engine.

I never tested the "keeping fuel fresh" thing. I burn fuel - I don't store it.
Never tested the valve seat lube thing. Sold the Jag when it started shredding water pumps.
Emissions - Oh please!. I ride an R3.

But the Jag did run cooler. And that here in 45°C summers was a serious godsend.

As an aside - my niece is a (now) petrochemist. She says she knows of the technology - but her employers (as an example) are reluctant to talk about it.
