Just got it strraight from the horses mouth. I e-mailed Supertrapp and asked them if and when they were ever going to start manufacturing the Jardine 3:1:2 exhaust sytems for the R3 standard/classic. The responce I received was that they are not currently in production and there is no date to start production. To me that says that the system is dead and buried. If you have a Roadster you can still get one of their systems in black, but that's it. So if anyone finds a new in the box 3:1:2 system from anyone they either have old stock, or bought old stock from someone. Too bad as I was looking at these real hard at one time. If I ever go the 3:1 route my vision is a Carpenter that is black ceramic coated inside and out, but the muffler pipe would be chromed. I'd either fit the factory chrome header flange covers, or manufacture new ones. This setup would still yeild some bling, but without the bluing, or at least I would not.
