YES a lot of trial and error goes into making an exhaust to get the desired performance and looks its not easy thats why none of the home made pipes make good HP CARPENTER makes several different sytems and then we test them on the street and at the Drag strip I know Im the road tester I take the modded bikes out and ride thousands of miles in real world conditions

WELL PHIL you are witness to the Road testing and also the drag strip testing at ATCO DRAGWAY and lots of Dyno time testing different designs

'Tis true that Bob Carpenter and his friendly elf, IFT test the ever loving life outta' all the mods which spring forth from Carpenter Racing well before they are released to the general public. and Art's a pretty good sport re: all the abuse he's earned here.

Well that's what I do and have been doing for 45+ years of riding, I have learnt a thing or two about what does, and does not work.
Not sure if this one does tho'
