I like those chippewa's except for the soals aren't thick enough (i like 3/4) for my short legs to reach and I'd need to bum the money for them. Other than that they look like nice ridding boots.

MILWAUKEE MOTORCYCLE BOOTS

I wear the Accelerator Boots. Good zippers make it easy for this fat boy to get them on and off. Very comfy for setting the back of my ankles on the footpegs when I need a stretch. Might have gone with the Trooper boots since they are a little taller. Great boot for the price.

I also have a problem with planer facitis (sp?). When I walk alot in running shoes, my heel aches. But when I walk a lot in the boots, no problem with the heel.

Well I have 33 inch inseems so the soles work for me. I am happy the soles are thin as adding footboards cost me at least and inch of leg room. I stole money from my student loans to buy them as well.

Its definitely more refined on this side!

Its nice to see this thread remain focused on styles of boots and not digress to R3 Captain's possible homosexual tendencies as recently occurred in a similar thread on the other R3 forum..............................

Careful now, you might have to fill out that hurt feelings form that you posted a while back.

I went for the Sidi On Road Gore-Tex Boots, but haven't received them yet.
At least on the paper, truly waterproof, and good grip (I believe watching the photos that the sole is Vibram brand or a clone of it.
The cons are that I know they tend to retain mud and they keep sowing bits of it in the house once it gets dry.
