Has anyone installed these saddlebag stiffeners? Or know where I can read the instructions?

I see that there is an option for black or silver fasteners with these kits so I assume the fasteners are seen from the outside. True?

I guess I could email Flip but that would take the fun out of it.

I've done business with him and he is a good guy.

flips stiffeners work great..come with instructs..get 'em..flip is the man..(get black, they will show on the outside)

I thought about using Sikaflex or some other adhesive rather than heaps of studs/rivets. Anyone used just adhesives to hold the stiffeners onto the leather bags ?

I'm with you on that. My bags don't look that bad it's just the top section that's sagging that's all.

Nothing but good experiences dealing with Flip. Triples, filter covers, Dobeck, brake pads, spark plugs etc.
