Fixing worn drive shaft and bevel box

Greeting all,
I've just finished a video about fixing my worn drive shaft and bevel box issue.
While building this Rocket 3 bobber, I wanted to paint the bevel box. When I removed it, I found out that the splines were all worn beyond belief. I have bought a shaft from a 2009 Rocket, but the diameter of the splines going into the bevel box was bigger. So I returned it and bought a complete set of driveshaft, bevel box and swing arm from a 2013 Rocket III Touring. That was not that simple, the bevel boxes looked identical, but there is a slight difference due to the different tire sizes. This video is about how I made everything fit.
Before starting all this, I was struggling to find info and I just had to pull the trigger and take chances. It paid off at the end.

I also had the misfortune of having to replace both on my Roadster. There aren't many instances of this for these bikes in general. We must both have the same kind of dumb luck. Nice job on the instructional.

Thanks so much! I think Triumph under engineered the drive shaft, so, they increased the diameter of the shaft to properly suit the power of this engine

Hi Phil I have also had R3 diff troubles and managed to get everything out and back in again but I would like to find the correct torque settings for the
6 x 13mm and 2 x 17mm crown wheel cover bolts. Triumph won't release them as we not smart enough to fix bevel boxes!!
Wondering if you had any thoughts. Anything between 60 and 85nm I suppose.
