First ride my Carpenter Rocket

nice ..very streamlined but unfortunately way out of my league I am just an amateur and fiberglass is the only material I can use for the project...where did this drawing comes from

it was circulating around the web a few years back.
I went to google images and typed in "custom triumph rocket"..
it looks alot like the new Triumph Sprint front fairing.....
not an exact match, note the ugly bags on the Sprint.
not the radius behind the front fender either, but closer than a bat wing fairing.
Wonder where Triumph got the idea and how hard it'd be to modify one?
here's that one.

now compare it to the Rocket.

amazing similarity huh?
I still like the Rocket pic better.
That red Rocket is sex on wheels right there.

there is a custom exhaust system that runs under the rear seat when an after mkt fender is used.

Very nice but I would like to see the exhaust run under the seat and out the duct tail like some of the sportbikes.

I would like to see what it looks like on the left hand side and how it the fairing intersects the BearClaw.

Unfortunately it never existed, it was only a concept drawing and that's the only one drawn. Very sad!

Woaw! I dunno about the black one, but the one on the side bar with Gulf livery scheme is SWEET looking! Don't know if Triumph ever had a Gulf sponsored race bike, but still looks sweet with the CF bits! Not a fan of that pipe setup tho.

The fairing looks way cool and would be great in the winter, however, in the summer you would burn up. Just too much heat coming off that engine, even a naked rocket is a bear to ride in the summer. I have baker airwings on my bike and can open and close them, when closed in hot weather my legs fry very quickly, and that would be the same effect of the fairing.
