Well.... I was dissapointed with my first ride.....what an aweful PIG!!!!!
Misfiring on #1. Well the add said "it runs, just took it out".....well it ran......it also sat for seven years after the original owner passed away.
Trouble shot to fouled plugs and 1 VERY leaky injector.
Clean the fuel system, installed new plugs......
HOLY MOTHER OF CHRIST!!!!!!!!
I have ridden about every thing out there, I have an '83 Suzuki 1100ESd drag bike that runs 9s, an SV100 sport bike with exhaust, intake and a tune.......I KNOW fast bikes....nothing on 2 wheel pulls off like this R3... (preaching to the chior, I know)
My '05 R3 has a cat delete and K&N replacement drop in. We'll after I got it to run well enough under power, still fouled at idle, I pulled the secondary throttle plates and DANG!!!!! (pulled them so I could observe the injectors bleeding down. Went for a spin....and cracked the throttle......800+ pound bike looking at the sky is a bunch different than 400 pounds looking upward.
Cams, turbo on a multi stage controller and a proper tune, it should be deadly fast.
Even not running optimaly, what a monster.
My brother and brother from another mother ride Valks......they keep pushing them down my gullett.....they are nice.....but, no thanks, I think I made a good choise for my bucket list ride.
What lunacy.....perfect.....go BIG....or shut up ya limp wristed moped riders!!!!!

Life is too short to be small............................

What really amuses me is how rare our bikes are. There are so many Harley's out there and motorists don't respect the Harley for its lack of power. So when some cagger decides he's going to blow me away, or dive in front of me and quickly cut me off, I love holding the car to its lane, unable to pass and then they realize that this isn't a Harley!!! Out here in So Cal it happens almost every day I ride, Target Rich Environment
