I don't know if this is related to my clutch noise issue in the other thread but after coming to a stop and putting the bike in neutral there is always a definite clunk when engaging first gear. Most bikes in general seem to do this but what are some thoughts on this?

Clank the same as all rockets do i think from what i hear when being around other 2500s and 2300s, 40wt 50wt oil makes a difference in mine and others i hear and know what oil theyre running, @Nashvegas runs motul 300v in his gt and his is quiter than with 40wt when he got it. But either way its normal

Kinda figured since every bike I've had did that as far as I remember.
The older beemers are notorious for being clunky with the newer ones not much better. I thought I ran across a post here somewhere mentioning a method for minimizing the clunk but I can't find it anymore.

completely normal, and sometimes if gear is in right position it doesnt happen. no worries about it.
