Got the body work all done correctly that other guy did a ****ty job and then it started to bubble and crack
So go to Porsche to do
It now done correctly bodywork looks amazing and paint is don't correctly can even look close now , looks like it just came out from factory liquid metal silver that's on the 918 Spyder Porsche the color coaches from dark to light depending how light hits it.
People ask if this is the new 2025 special edition Triumph Rocket lol I guess that's a compliment radiator grills is all powder coated silver chrome and exhaust is ceramic coated satin black and the passenger seat looks similar to driver seat just with a taller back rest. Going into international bike Show in January
I Like that this is a think of its own with a rocket base, not a rocket done differently. Not my style personally but i do love the amount of work that when into this, GREAT COLOUR too. I would remove some of that amazon bolt on stuff though (front bag) and highway pegs. IMO that bike should have no chrome on it. constructive pointless criticism because otherwise there is nothing but perfection here!
Yeah some times you just need say that's enough I was going to put a twin supper charger and hide underneath the two covers on tank
So covers is big enough to cover my 4040 K&N filters so that's good , I was also going to make the right side a glove box with a key.
Lost of ideas. I think coming up with a design and making every think fit and function was the hardest. Sure if I did another one there would be changes ever more with the experience now
But I think if you seen in person your love would be even more
Pictures doesn't do it justice.
Thanks Tubo200R4 for all your guidance to help me through my wiring that other mechanics couldn't figure out know she's running thanks to you I learned a lot, thank goodness for Google meet if you can get me doing wiring you can teach anyone, I think you should write a book how to do wiring for dummies
Thanks
No I'm not going to paint the brake calipers I'm dot doing any more work besides a trunk I'm doing almost finished one but decided to do a different shape now I'm back to the drawing board to come up with a different shape.
This one looks nice but realized I there is no sharp edges on my bike so going to do softer look, but will still have the sunk in brake light to match my back fender.
Great stuff and what an improvement on the previous finish.
I agree with @Mongler07, dix the tool bag. From experience, they do rub body and paint work as they move or come into contact with front fender on big bumps.
And it may have a cleaner flowing look with the lamp visors gone too.
The Triumph leather bag is just below horn strapped on forks it's not even close on rubbing the paint on front fender.
I keep tools in it and I put little battery booster in just in case and good thing my friend left his light on and I took it out and started his bike maybe ones I make my trunk I'll ditch the tool bag thanks for input.
