Finally got my highway bars installed!

Thanks, now I get it.
Funny that the true name and function "Engine Guards" was never used.

Oh well, terminology is sometimes fuzzy. I remember in my more brilliant youth I once misfired badly enough to refer to them as sissy bars. Not sure what I was thinking there.

Actually, they could also be called side nerf bars as well.

If'n ya don/t mind, what is the length of the peg itself from center clevis to outboard end?

Can you comment on the Kury's quality? From what I've seen on some other bikes when you have the pegs intalled they are all floppy and loose... I'd hate to be riding around and hearing the loose fitting pieces clunking around. Do the pegs fold up nice and tight when not in use? Which pegs did you guys decide to go with?

Mine are Kury's, look almost exactly like Hans' minus the logo. Got them used with the bars. Like Bull said, have to mount high, but that works for me. Never had a single issue with floppy, loose, vibrations, rattle etc. Kick em down when I want them and when I'm entering the curves, just kick them up.

Hey Ricochet,

What type of seat are you running?

I believe its a seat from a Rocket Classic... to get it to work with the Roadster you have to use this bracket for it to click onto that replaces the back seat of the roadster.

Steve, if you're interested in one, my classic seat and bracket are sitting in the garage collecting dust!

Steve I got that Rocket Classic Seat because 1: It helps lower me down a little bit (I have freakishly short legs) and 2: I like having to only be able to remove 1 seat to get the front and back off, much easier!
