Finally a cure for the biker wave epidemic

If i thought my saliva would travel far enough i would spit at scooter riders All others get a nod ... Rocket 3 riders get a wave.

Must say I don't really get the wave thing. Happy to nod - usually it's a nob back - but rarely a wave. I do like to turn and say g'day to a rider I pull up next to at the lights. Usually get one back and sometimes even have a short chat. Lost count of the number of "wanna swap?s" I've had. As for the waving gadget; some days I could really do with one that was flipping the bird.

Pulled up next to this rather attractive 30 something on a scooter this morning. Lifted my visor and she turned towards me and kind of smiled. I said " where's your riding gear?" she had on a mini skirt , a sleeveless top and a pair of slingbacks. Her response was "it's too hot" .. told her to go check out 3D at the Royal Brisbane Hospital "go and have a squiz at the guys that have slid down the road" ... then i spat at her and rode off.

I like waving at other bikers. For me its about respect to 2 wheels and the bikes I wave to understand what it is to ride. I wave to just about everything on 2 wheels. a few weeks about I waved to a trike, the rider was about 5 years old and got a big ol smile and waved back all excited like. its funny, I felt way more badass that day than I do when I ride with groups or smoke other bikes that like to think they're fast.

If you meet me out on the road, I will wave at you. I will have all of my fingers up.

I must have missed a memo sometime ago about proper waving. I still wave with my hand up. I don't point down at the center line like some others that I see. When and where did the 'cool' point at the center line start?
