Fall Rocket Launch

So....has it been decided where yet?

Might be able to attend but need the final dates and place to see if I can work it in.

Personally...since I missed the original Eureka Springs get together in 2008 (since I went to Afghanistan that August) I put my vote in there...and it seems to be more "centrally" located for everybody...that's my vote for whatever it is worth.

Nope, no date set or even a destination yet.
We'd like to head out West a little bit this time.
Maybe get to meet some of the Captains we've talked to here for years
but never had the pleasure of meeting or riding with.
Right now Scowherds on a mission to see what he can see,
so we'll have a better idea when he returns from his trip.
 

Skip I don't want to disappoint anyone but I will not be able to plan a fall launch I will assist where every I can we are trying to get a tour business off the ground this year and I need to conserve my remaining time off to finish some research and host the few tours we have booked this year...... I will help were I can and I am looking forward to planning RAA VII in the spring If everyone is up for it.

You and Katie get your switch problem worked out?

Boys, it looks like we're own this year, Steve has prior commitments.
i'm open to suggestions.
We NEED adult supervision.......
 
I had mentioned doing it around here but the whole stinking state is currently on fire due to a drought.
Colorado looks good.
 
What type of weather does, Colorado have in September I was through there in the middle of August and the mountains had snow just wondering it might have been a freak weather pattern. I had went to Sturgis and then to Yellowstone into Montana and back around. A real good trip just wished I had a better camera at the time.
 
Colorado in September is wonderful. The weather can be 60s or 70s during the day, maybe even 80s in Durango. There may be snow on the mountain peaks, but usually not at lower elevations. Towards the 3rd week in September the Aspen leaves are changing. Lots of yellow, gold, red and orange. The tourists are less too. Summer vacation season is over, but it's not yet ski season either.
 
I have done all the research for a RAA in Colorado and will be happy to turn it over to someone any volunteers I am also going to be traveling in the rocky mt park area in a couple of weeks if there is anything I can do to help let me know
