They can mount 6X9's on a fairing? Wow. I would suggest that you go to an electronics store that has one of those displays where you can push a button and listen to different speakers. Find something similar to what they offer and check out the difference between 6in and 6x9's. 6x9's will offer more bass than round just because they have more area.

Tsukayu Quick Detach

You can get the Tsukayu with a Memphis Shades compatible quick detach feature only for a couple of Harley applications when you look closely at the website. Otherwise it uses a bolt on fork clamp set-up, which applies to the R3T. Hoppe on the other hand has a quick detach set-up that works with our National Cycle based stock windshield mounts. The Hoppe intstruction manual insists on replacing the stock steel bushings with their stainless steel bushings before installing their fairing.

are they worth the $200 extra?

Only if you are using an amp, the stereo puts out about 10 watts rms, which is not very much, you can get a pair of 6.5s with a power handeling capacity of 100 watts rms, a 200 watt amp and blow away any non amped 6x9, a good speaker is only as loud as the power you put thru it, also need to find out if the alternator will handle such a load.
hope that helps:)

i have the tsukaye 09 r3t it comes with quick detach plug and bolts to stock windshield mounts i can put on or take off in less than ten min. i would have it painted if you do it yourself or have some one else do it you have to take it apart to do it right

that not to bad if it only takes 10 to get it off. and i will be painting it my self, that is no problem since i been painting aircraft for over 10 years.

they will send you exrta rubber trim to put on after you paint it also check the bolts they send you with it. sent me wrong ones. i re- used stock ones they will send you spacers and washer with it to get the right fit i had to cut the spacers to get them to fit it is not hard to insall. hoe this helps.

How about a picture or twelve??

Think I will stick with my $400 fairing and not have to deal with the idiots at Tsukayu got to put whatever radio and speaker comobo in it that I wanted. Long store short they lie like there is no tomorrow. Used my bike to take all the measurements and pics to make the mounts and said they would give me a smoking deal on a fairing... When I got home and emailed them they quoted me website price..Even saying they knew my bike was the one they took the all the info from... Heard some real interesting stories about them from quite a few fairing companies as I worked on a solution to add one to my bike. I would steer clear of the hacks.
