Pipes for roadsters are made by only a few.

I'm waiting on my Carpenter Sidewinders now, should be tomorrow on delivery

They are good shape. They are yours. Less than half what I paid for them a year or two ago.

I am on the fence for the Carp Sidewinders. Wish they made them with 1.75" primary pipes. Love the look, considering polished with inside ceramic coated to help keep the luster. Also like the CEs, but need stainless. Wish the CES pipe was closer to the frame from the collector to the muffler (don't care for the gap behind the O2 sensor). Decisions, decisions! Please let us know how they work out, and of course pictures.

Carpenter has tried 1.75 primary pipes and the 2 inch pipes make more HP

For certain. Getting mine unpolished then wrapping with tape. Per carpenter, wrapping with heat tape adds hp. Makes sense, hotter they get better they burn
They said the sidwinders fit tighter as far as less heat on the leg.
Soon i'll find out...

Unpolished is $1430, includes shipping
Not sure the noise level yet, soon i shall find out
Seen a video on youtube with them.
Sounded good, not ignorant loud like a Moped (harley) but just enough to make it nice

WOW....that is 25 percent of what I paid for my bike (6k). Sure it is TOP Quality but (putting nomex on) for the amount of materials vs a car performance exhaust it amazes me how expensive exhausts are for R3's especially the Zards...

My 2013 Infititi M37 cost me 60000 dollars and I can get a 304 SS catback complete for a grand......
And that obviously includes mufflers. There is a huge disparity between Bike exhaust and Car exhaust prices.....

Not sure how many R3 Classics were made between 05 and 2012 but some one out there ought to be able to fab up a header back slip on for 700 USD...The material cost is not that high and they can be made on a pre order basis. D and D dropped out supposedly due to a lack of demand by buyers-so they say. Just amazing that you have to spend insane money on a Zard or Remus to get a non tors option to the oems...

Has anyone figured a way to punch out the baffles on the OEM.....? Not sure why spending 2000 -4000 dollars doing and intake to exhaust mod on a used 7 to 9 thousand dollar bikes makes financial sense.

I am speaking for in the USA fabricators as shipping is bad enough in the USA.

Just saying......
