This de-CAT solution is really growing on me.
Well, it looks good from the angles shown on their website.

Looks simple, yet effective. Doesn't look out of place. Good lines. Nice detailing.

I was getting really tempted, until I realised that they state 'GT' model.....no mention of 'R' model :(
I'm guessing there must be a packaging issue due to the space needed on the mid-controls.....yet......the stock heat shield is used, so i'm thinking perhaps the shield is not in the same position as when used on the stock system.

I imagine that it's purely their marketing department being cautious.
The GT and R use the same exhaust system. So, if it bolts straight to stock headers and uses stock heat shield, then I can see no reason why I wouldn't fit the R.

Your reasoning makes sense to me.
I think i'll do a bit more digging into it. I think it might just be the one i'll go for........unless someone comes up with a complete big bore system that looks right on the bike.
