exhaust popping on deceleration

So you're saying I should turn the O2 sensor back on but add fuel to the zero column in all of the L tables?
No, he is talking about a Power Commander V unit which you do not have. Power commander units come with a O2 sensor eliminator/bypass. It fools the ecu into thinking the sensor is active but does not trim anything. Either way you do not have one on your bike. I made the fueling adjustments in the L tables like Hans but not as much fuel added.

I get between 25-35 depending on wrist position. I don't anything about power commanders, but I do know without one, if you turn the O2 sensor on, regardless of any changes you've made, it will lean the mixture down and you'll be popping again. I've heard you can get wide band O2 sensor. Not sure what all is involved in making that work. Gas mileage on toys has never been one of my worries. I used to have a lightly modded Polaris 650 Indy snowmobile that got about 14 mpg.

@steve mitchell You should know there is a speedo adjustment on the maps which the map I sent you is different from the one Hanso sent. his is at zero which in theory you odometer should be correct and you speedo could be off by 6% the one I sent is opposite so you odometer would be off and speedo correct. this has to do with factory settings and correction for tire diameters. Anyway my point is you should use a GPS to track you actual mileage traveled to insure your getting correct information. Of course you can always change the speedo adjustment on the one I sent you save it under a different name and then compare but I would still use a GPS if you can.

Yes. I've looked at your map and noticed that you're running -6%. I've been running -5.4% and my GPS shows that I'm just a touch off. -6% could be the ticket. I also notice that you have the O2 sensor turned off. Thanks.

The only way for me to get 25+ mpg is put the rocket on a trailer.... 4.2 to 4.5 gals. per 100 miles
Mine does some popping when I am slowing down with gear changes.......I like it to do that!!!!
Makes me think the ol'girl is talking to me.........LOL

Im having a similar issue, I put on a Ramair, Power commander and custom header and exhaust and had it dyno'd... the dyno guy said it had to be an exhaust leak, but I cant find anything. The only thing I was wondering is the exhaust I had made are completely open with no baffles...could this be the culprit?

To a large degree Yup

Even the Tex gets a little burble and pop (I might Add quietly with the Standard muffler) happening if I drop ed down a few gears slowing down hill just before my driveway

I believe the O2 sensor would not be the problem in your case because you're running with PC. Fuel processors like power commander are after the ECU. They take all the stock information from the bike's tune and alter it. (It lies to the bike). So, the O2 sensor can do what it wants. The pc is going to change the information anyway. If the guy who did the custom map saw good, that would be fine.
If you have a laptop you could download the pc software and plug into the pc, upload the custom map and save it. Then download a map from the pc website that closely matches your mods. And upload it to your bike and try it. If the issue goes away, it's the custom map. If it doesn't you'll need to look for that leak again.
