My question @Super D. is , what is wrong with your bike ?

Just askin'

The reason I'm asking these questions is to figure out if something is wrong with my bike. I was looking at some old threads on the other site, and it seems you had a similar situation with your brakes, and you changed the brake fluid for a higher temp brake fluid. Did that resolve your issue? Or did you move the reservoir out 3/8"?

@Super D. Have you checked your header temperature? If it's well above the 500-550 others have posted, I'd definitely think it's a very lean condition, and be concerned about damaging the motor.

I am running the tune that Hanso gave me, and it is +5% from the first one he gave me. I have a PC V & Autotune on the way, that should completely put an end to the question of it running too lean. I guess we shall see.

What temp is your header?

Not exactly, the best way is to get a professional to do it. the auto tune will help but does not get you 100%, must be some good ones in Southern California, I lived in LA for years as my wife is from Los Angeles.

Well it will get it as close as possible. At that point, I can rule out the A/F.

@Super D. Not sure if you missed my question, or just ignored it, but after 7 pages of you demanding header temps, it's only fair that you post yours.

i wasn't demanding, I asked, and I did post the temps I got. At the beginning it was about 750, with the wrap it's between 650 and 500 depending on where I take the temp.

Sorry I missed that. Yes I'd say it's way hotter than normal. I hope the PCV fixes it.
