Is the acceleration really that slow on them or is that the ecu in puss mode ?

It will take off fast, i think driver might be in puss mode

Did here the pop,pop,pop when he/she backed off throttle? It will sound like **** on decel without a tune.

Yup noticed it on the first viewing. Thought "Oh yeah no re-tune needed ... right"!

I think the tubes need to be a bit longer.

To be perfectly honest i'd happily settle with something a bit throatier and more bassy. Don't care that much if the HP gain is like 3-5 "only"
The weight savings will be immense too i think.

Personally I think they look terrible and I wouldn’t want a Rocket sounding like that. I also don’t believe it doesn’t need a remap. Even at that slow ride it was popping. I’d be waiting.

Rest assured this particular brand of exhaust will not ne the one and only available for the R3. Others are sure to follow.
Regarding remapping, i have swapped exhausts on a few bikes, both carburetted and EFI without doing anything. In my experience it's not until you uncork the intake side (filter, airbox) that you start to feel and see on the plugs that more fuel is definetly needed.
Since i don't even have the R3 in my possession until next week i cannot of course present any bold statements about it in particular but the decel pop (again based on past bikes) is often the result of that poxy air injection more than anything else.

They look better than OEM, IMHO.
I would never change either exhaust or intake alone without insuring a proper air-fuel mix for the engine.
