He does a lot of extra things in the video to show some of the things you can do with it. But it's really, read the map on the ECU, save map, open new map (sent by a friendly rocket rider), upload new map. power off, power on, reset complete, disconnect. Run the bike
If nothing else, download the program, tab through it a bit (without hooking up to bike), and see if it still seems too cosmic. If so, enjoy the day riding (with a dealer stop thrown in there somewhere)
