Exedra Max + Michelin Commander 2 + GO PRO2

video editing skills, as this is a new hobby. The posting to the web takes about 1/2 of the resolution with it, and on your own computer the video is far better, and I am working on that. The first Video will show just how crappy riding on chip seal is. The second was done on my favorite Idaho twist road, it was cut off before I may have exceeded the recommended cager speed limit. Please remember that the camera was on the top of her head, and she is just turning her head and not leaning. She knows better then that….

Video #1:

Video #2:

I like the videos.
Can you tell me what the tunes are on the 2nd video?

Cheers. Eric.

My post was meant to be funny, not offensive, however if you identified with the nonconforming equine in that picture, it's not my fault.

As for your car tire question (thanks for bringing that up ) , sure the combination will work, but why would want to compromise great handling and your own safety with that square POS, the worst choice that there is for a rear tire, IMO?

Don't get me wrong, it's totally your choice, but you asked for opinions, right?

Ok Phil thank you, I hadn't taken offense.. and you answered my question too, great, much appreciated.

I was close to trying the Mitch after reading your convincing post on the subject.. but I have had good results from BS in auto tyres and fitted the BS E Max to the rear so just wanted to try the exedra on the front..

Maybe next time..

Let us know what you do fit up front, Dennsell, and how you like the combo!

How's the Comander handle the wet greasy stuff, always have been a Michelin man myself and probally wouldnt be on a DS if they made our sizes I even approached Michelin Auss a last year and was told there was the new commander coming out but he did not know the sizes but was confident there would be a big enought rear, alas he was wrong my only concern is if you are lifting the rear with a taller back tyre and dropping the front it might be putting Too much causing front end wash out in the wet

Hans, I do my best to avoid "wet greasy stuff", so I'm not sure that i can address your question with authority. I would describe the Commander II as a very sticky tire, maybe the stickiest I've ever run on the front wheel of any of my motorcycles, which is a bit surprising at it seems as though it will give me substantially better than average wear.

To help with your evaluation, here's a site that has lots of user's reviews for you to peruse: Michelin Commander II Cruiser Rear Tire - Cruiser Motorcycle - Motorcycle Superstore

The Michelin site describes the tire as having "remarkable wet grip" and it, too, has rider testimonials for you to check out: Michelin Motorcycle Tires

Yeah I would be surprised If it didn't grip well as I said I have on all my previous bikes' Sports and Sports Tourers used nothing but Michelin I love em, Thanks for the Links

I'm already (less than 3 months) at 5500 miles and not much left on the rear tire.
This is a good thread as our motors' wheels are not well sized and tires are hard to find. FORGET any choices in matched brands. :p

I chose the Excedra Max rear and Commander II front.
FYI - I paid $300 total for both tires and shipping.
