I am located in Hilton, west of Rochester....

Right along the route to the Rochester Dino. I go through there a few times each year on my way to get some of the best BBQ north of the Mason-Dixon. Terrible highway drive but great back roads, watch out for those coppers out there, they'll pull you over if you just look like your going fast.

I came from VTX too. Really liked the bike, but it was kind of slow

My office was on main street in Rochester, just down the street from the Dinosaur.. Been there many times, great BBQ!

I never really considered the X to be slow, well my wife's 1300 seemed slow and small compared to the 1800. My X seemed to have a different feel then the R3T as far as the power goes, I still feel like the X would take off faster then the R3T. If I bump into the new owner of my X perhaps I will find out.
