I was in Bellingham, Washington yesterday and I drove past a small motorcycle shop with a Triumph sign on it. I stopped in and spoke with the owner who told me he used to be a Triumph dealer for many years but gave up the Triumph franchise due to him not wanting to invest in a new building to meet Triumph's requirements. The fellow told me that he was planning on being out of the motorcycle business within 6 months. There were a lot of Triumph parts boxes stacked to the roof. He is currently discounting things 35% but I am sure that the prices will drop as he gets closer to the shutting the doors date. I talked with the fellow for about half an hour and tried several times to get the conversation around to what he had for Rockets without any luck. If you are in the market for some new old stock this may be a place to check out....

I was visiting my mother who lives in BC very near the border. My daughter had never been to the US before so she wanted to go for the afternoon. She wanted to check out Chipotles for lunch and Sonic for a drink for the ride home. I used to go to Bellingham a lot as a kid....the downtown has been nicely cleaned up/revitalized since my last visit about 20 years ago. Made for a nice outing and my daughter can now say that she has been to the US.
