'10 Roadie
So yesterday I tried taking advantage of what will likely be the last 70 degree day for months here in the Pacific Northwet by taking the Roadie for a ride. It fired right up but as it was warming I noticed it started stuttering and missing. Went for about a block before it got worse so I turned right around. It threw an error code then died in the driveway. No lights, no gauges, no nothing. Pushed it back in the garage and took the 1190.
When I got home hours later it fired back up as normal. It didn't run great but it did fire up then and several times afterward.
When I hooked up TuneEcu it said the error code was P0560 ECM Power Supply, Circuit Malfunction.
What says the collective on the best places to start the trouble shooting?
Battery and charging check out good, connections are tight, no obvious broken wires.
TIA

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I noticed no issues with the headlights, no fuses blown. I've not done anything with it for a few days, but even though I did the Eastern Beaver thing early on I'm starting to suspect the main switch, since it acted like a power interrupt.

Sounds suspiciously like the dreaded ignition switch? Maybe the wiring damage was done before you did the E.B. bypass.... once that white wire goes hard the solder joint to the base of the switch will crack sooner or later....

The rains come back to the Pacific Northwet starting tomorrow and likely hang around till next June, so I should have time to give everything a once over.
I need to figure out what role the relay plays in the system too, since I've had other relay issues on this bike before - starter relay, fuel pump relay, Eastern Beaver headlight relay.

I seen this in the hills of Virginia on Lupe's 05 aka Mexican. Tight up you battery cables every time the wiggle the ecu will get a voltage drop and throw the code. Glad it was that easy as we were just sitting at a restaurant in the middle of no where when I took a look at the problem. Hope its that easy for you make sure you clean the cables before you snug them back down.
