engine started to run too ritch

Sorry I did not read before now that you had this problem Richard but it is an easy adjustment @pete.triumph and @CanberraR3
On the Test screen of TuneECU the second last test down the left side is "Adjust ISCV" double click this and follow the instructions (along bottom of screen) to do this as it will help you check and set TPS and Stepper motor adjustments.
I only recently had to redo mine I have found every so often possibly due to vibration on a long run, one or the other may slip a tad and when doing the procedure repeat it a couple of time as it is only a minor movement to make it a minor change and that is all it takes for the system to play up,
Hope this helps you guys

PS I will have Laptop and cable with me At RDU if anybody else needs to do this
Yep same process Les Run my bike through and it fixed my backfire through throttle bodies problem.

thanks hanso my r3 cant really be ridden the way it is i was lucky to get home ! how often do need to do tps ?
Mate what part of Sydney you in ? I'll be staying over near Moorebank on the way to RDU, worse case senario i can bring my laptop and cable and run the reset procedure , not sure if tune ecu will work with tuneboy installed though ???

@Wrecka, TuneBoy like TuneECU is merely a program that allows you to access and change ECU settings it does not live in ECU there should be no reason why it does not work

Unless you have a 9,000RPM type tune in your bike you should find that TuneECU works fine. Some of the high performance mods need TuneBoy as TuneECU doesn't have such high RPM settings. Even so, I would think that you should be able to reset the TPS with TuneECU.

Tune boy has the same reset ISCV function you just use the tune boy dash instead of tune edit. like tune ecu once you click the reset ISCV function you just follow instructions. In short once you click it it will tell you to check the TPS voltage and insure it is .6 volts + or - .02 volts. Once this is done you will click it again and check the TPS voltage to insure it went up .12 volts if not you will adjust the idle stepper motor until it is .12 volts higher or .72 volts again + or - the original .02 volts that it was set in the first step. After that you will click it again and the ecu will record all positions to memory then it will tell you when its time to click reset adaptive's to clear old adaptive settings. once this is done you can ride her.

If you over filled the gas tank it will give you the same problem...I did one time and it took a 12 mile ride to lower the fuel level to the proper level. outside air temp and engine heat really expands the fuel.
