My son Kane went on the Santa ride yesterday. One of his mates started it last year with 15 bikes. This year they had 80, had a sausage sizzle and can of soft drink then rode from Yeronga into Newfarm Park stopped there and had a park full of kids going crazy with all the Santa's on bikes. Then into the city and did a few laps then back to Yeronga. Kane said kids were running onto the street in the city they all had a great day. Except for the 3 car loads of cops that turned up at the sausage sizzle to hassle 80 blokes and girls dressed as Santa. When Chris the organizer was asked what colours they wear his reply it's a Santa suit didn't seem to please them. Kane got a warning 30 days to put a red reflector on the back of his bike. QLD cops aren't real sharp if they can't tell the difference between 80 blokes under 30 dressed as Santa and a patch club. Kane said there was a young bloke there on a Rocket doing wheelstands in the industrial estate where they had the sausage sizzle.

Funny thing is, just last week the Triumph dealer in Katy TX near where @R3Tex lives, told us a R3 is too heavy to do a wheelstand.
I should have made him a friendly wager.

BTW, that looked like great fun. It's a shame local law enforcement don't seem to have any common sense.

I've seen Carmichael on YouTube a few times. I'll have to look up Luke. I'm not even close to their skill level but I know first hand how the R3 will stand up.
