END OF MONTH PACKRATS RIDE

EOM Packrats Ride October sunday 28th

Okay. The run is set.
We will meet at B.P. Blacksoil at 8.30am to leave at 9.00am.
We run up the highway to Plainlands, where we'll cross and head up through
Brightview and Lowood to Fernvale. Then up Slipyard Crk Rd to Somerset and
back into Esk. We stop at Enigma Cafe for a rest and then head on to Gatton.
Fuel stop at Gatton then on to Forest Hill for lunch. After lunch we'll roll through
Laidley, Granchester, Rosewood to the Cunningham Hwy. Up onto the Centenary
Hwy and through to Springfield. Then on through Greenbank to finish at
Kensington Park Hotel at Park Ridge / Marsden.
As usual some folk will peel off and go there own way after lunch, and that's cool.
Please let someone know so we don't send somebody to find you.

Bean has his bikeshop at Forest Hill. He brought back four container loads of old British bikes with him when he returned from the States last year. Might be worth swinging in and having a sqiz while in town.. just a thought.

A bit far off for me yet to know definatly what I'm doing. I'll be there if nothing important clashes. Starting to get into that silly period of Cristmas parties and reunions.

Ride date is Sunday 25th November, ride departs from Maccas Beaudesert at 9.00 am.


Trip is Beaudesert to Beaudesert.
Fuel possibilities are Beaudesert, Woodenbong, Urbanville and Killarney.
Lunch in Killarney or Queen Mary Falls.


Maccas Beaudesert 0830 for a 0900 departure full of fuel.
Ride distance around 250km. With options to extend.
Very scenic.
All bitumen roads but some are a little rough.
