Easy Start headlight control module

That's hilarious. 40 bucks for something that essentially does nothing. Gotta love it.
Yea I installed it on my 2005 rocket and all it does is allows one circumvent headlights in order to have more battery power when starting the bike, that's why they call it easy-start harness, it does not bypass the ignition module and is not intended too! "Be Safe"

No, that is not accurate. The Rocket circuitry circumvents the headlights when you press the starter button. This is the way it is from the factory.

The ONLY thing that this kit does is keep the headlights off until you choose to turn them back on. It is a false narrative to say that it helps with starting in any way.

The premise of that is Off UNTIL Start as opposed to OEM On then Off DURING Start
It's really debatable the benefit of this to be honest
Eastern beaver also offers a headlight switch that goes with the relay kit. Im saving for adaptive LED lighting like @1olbull has.
Not to denigrate EB but he chose a really odd way to have that switch control only the low beam - if had switched the ground instead of the low beam posiitive signal, it would have controlled both low AND high with the same component/wiring.

I think @1olbull might have an EB kit around that he took off?

I think it came from china which might explain the backwards stuff. Alas both mine were in prior to you gracing us with your vas knowledge.
 
I used to supply an automated off-until-started with my own relay kit, but decided it's not really buying that much - as someone said earlier, your lights are only on for few seconds before starting anyway.
For Maintenance/diagnostics, where you want ignition on for extended periods (or for TuneECU) a switch is nice to be able to just turn them off without having to pull the fuse (although limited enough occurrence that it's not a great inconvenience really)
 
The thing is, as has been stated, the bike already does that via a factory installed relay
Well I know that after I start the bike their is just that little parking lite lit, and if and when I go to high beam and than back to low beam their would be no head lights until I put them on!
