Easy Bracket stand off?

Those of you who have the Easy Brackets mounted, how much stand off is there between the fender and the piece the 'bags bolt to? Is the bottom of the mounted saddle bag outside the rear shock, or do the bags have to be mounted behind the shock?

About one inch. They mount outside of shocks.

Thanks! I'm looking to have my Happy Trail Teton saddle bags presently used on my DR do double duty on my Roadster and this seems like a cheap and easy possibility. Not having to mount the bags behind the bottom of the shock really simplifies things.

Be flexible. I found I needed shorter spaces on the left than on the right.

Yes and no. They're aluminum boxes made in Idaho, but they're the narrower (7.5"), smaller version powder coated a black that's not that far off my Roadster's matt black. They also hold 40% more than my LeatherLykes.
