@Mad Dog, did you have to drill the threads out of your seat mounts? If not, these are better than the bolt idea (IMHO) because they won’t back out accidentally and have a “no tools required“ release.
Just looked at bolts under the seat. Had seat off. When put the bolts back in, it does not appear one’s thumb will be able to push in the center pin while it is under the seat. The edge of the seat comes down too far. The end of the fastener may have to stick out from under the seat in order to access the center.
I can reach under there to push the pin with the bags on if the lids are open, but it’s tight. Using the longer pin helps a little. In any case it’s easier than using tools and factory bolts.

Went for the rubber washers today, came home with rubber washers, grommets and nylon bushing to keep from using so many washers. Ended up looking like this.
