Welcome and besides the EZ brackets (mild steel sheet painted black) advised by @EasTexRIII another Aussie @Mittzy has just designed and had made some stainless steel versions (similar but thinner gauge plate), to go with his Quick Release (QR) sissy bar mounting brackets so you can go from fully loaded to bare in seconds. The holes in the EZ brackets and Mittzy's version both need to be made in the stock leather panniers if mounted directly to the brackets without using the stock pannier frame brackets. The EZ brackets top two holes do align with the stock pannier frame brackets but this makes them protrude (stick-out) further from the bike when mounted than if mounted without the stock frames as well.

AUD$150 for the pair ( US$110, EUR101 ) + shipping and they are Stainless Steel to suit the third run QR Sissy Bar Kit.
They will each have a keyed alike locking barrel in them. They can be used without the QR sissy bar brackets (which come with the mounting posts/bolts), but will require the mounting posts/bolts at extra cost.

I know many buyers had the QR Sissy Bar Kit and QR Saddle Bag Brackets powder coated black so bought them raw steel unpolished.

I have the EZ brackets on my stock leather panniers with the frames and the chromed pannier cages that attach to the stock pannier frames.

I also have a set of Mittzy's now to fit to a pair of fibreglass Tsukayu hardcases I have to get re-painted.

Hi There,

Greetings from the Netherlands.
Just joined here.
I have a 2015 Rocket X. Which is a Roadster which comes standard with O.a. '8 Ball Customs' painting. It is the anniversary model for 10 Years Rocket III

To get the grip on the big bike, i did a race course with it. Very nice to be on the track, trowing around the 400 kg bike

Luckily I am almost 2 m' tall, 6ft 5, which makes the bike very easy to handle.

I am a freelance project manager.

I ride about 7000 km a year. Most for fun. Sometimes to my project location.
So a new set of tires is needed every spring. Now the third set is mounted. The newly designed Metzelers. Would be nice if these would last bit longer... I spent more money on tires then on fuel...
But they have great grip. And that's what i like most.

When handled well i think that this Rocket drives as easy as a Vespa. And when preferred/wanted as a YZR

.
Believe in it, ride safe and go for it.

And why an X? It came just in time. It was exactly like right. Almost completely black.
Had almost all the modifications I wanted to have the III Roadster I nearly bought.

I did try some HD models. But I am not used to two cylinder low rpm. And the Nightrod is just too small for me. Hurts in my back after half an hour drive.

Know I have a decent bike. Which fits to my size and the way I drive. Perfect.

Added some extras. Oa. the standard triumph Panniers/Leather bags. I am now looking for something to make these bages removable. Does someone has any experience with the Viking Quick Disconnect System in regard to the standard Triumph Pannier/ Leather bags
I do not wish to lose the bags at 200km+
