Dumb Spark Plug Question

I want to change the plugs on my '08 R3T. The tank is up. How do the leads/spark plug wires come off of the plugs? I have pulled and tried to turn them. I don't want to pull too hard because I have been known to break things. Help a fellow captain out, please.

Hold them firmly and pull up, they are about three or four inched long.(wiggle them a wee bit sometimes help)

I got a plug wire plier so I wouldn't damage the wire or boot. Huh, that has a nice ring to it; plug wire plier!

pull it like a 15 YO .or you could try giving it a spay under the rubber with silicone spay to lubricate the rubber so it slides out ezzier
