hey all ,just wondering ,has anyone had or expecting premature drive shaft wear/failure,due to the power increase from the mods we are doing  :(

Everything is relative. If you have power mods and regularly "abuse" the power then you can expect your drive will fail faster. Most people though aren't constantly on the adrenaline even with major upgrades so I would not expect much longevity issues from the drivetrain or transmission.

Clutch though is a different story. Stock clutches seem pretty weak and even the Barnett Performance clutch is a tad insufficient, well, maybe... I'm thinking the Rocket clutch system needs a better design, but that's a different story.

The "drivetrain" issues (torsional bearing failure) that people have reported occur on bone stock machines as well as heavily modified ones and seem most related to mileage done - around 10000 to 14000 miles, so far as upgrades and drivetrain issues, there is no correlation.

hmm interesting

yeh just wasnt sure ,im pretty new to this site and rockets and havnt worked out the stand out (ya gunna have trouble) weak points of the bike
