I posted a while ago about my instrument cluster cracking. Long story short I rang the dealer he said it wasn't covered. After some colourful language he told me I had to book it in for the day in 6 weeks time (2.5hr motorway trip each way and day off work and then repeat when the warranty might or according to him might not be approved) more colourful language. **** it I thought ride and they can do the lot at next service.
Anyway pulled the bike out today and the display is dead. Moisture inside the screen. Bike starts but I'm wondering is it a bit of a lottery now as to whether the bike will continue to start. I'm a bit hesitant to ride to the dealership
 
Make fun if you want. Mine has been fine from cracks and mousture

Well warranty passed on the cluster and a rear indicator lamp with water in it(despite want the dealer told me) . Just waiting for parts to arrive.
I saw on the Triumph website that all new bikes come with 24 months Triumph Assist. Has everyone got that ? I was told by the dealer that I don't have it. I contacted Triumph Care directly and 3 days later I've no answer back - just as well I'm not stuck on the side of the road - but why should I be surprised it kinda sums up my ongoing experience of dealing with Triumph

Pretty much my experience dealing with Triumph. They must be overwhelmed with warranty issues on these bikes. So far every recall has been an attempt that hasn't worked. My brakes are even worse now than before the recall on that. I keep my FTF covered like a kid with covid. knock on wood.....

I have to take my Rocket in a third time for the rear brake issue. They stated they fixed the issue before I bought the Rocket so it's actually the forth time if they were truthful which I believe. They just can't fix the problem. I use the rear brake maybe 10%-20% to 80% front brake. My rear brake pad is still looking good so it's certainly not that. I get to go back to have my rear brakes 'temporary' fixed. While I'm there I will make an appointment 3 months in advance for when the rear brakes go tits up a fifth time. Sad but the truth.:mad::mad:
 
Well I've just got an email back from the UK team and it appears that I am entitled to Triumph Assist despite being told by the dealer that I didn't. This meant that I had to pay to get my bike transported for the warranty work that I was told wasn't covered that I actually shouldn't have had to pay for because I should have had Triumph Assist. You couldn't write this sh1t. There will be hell to pay over this. I'm sick of it.
