Tony Oppelt is my bud and my personal bike tech. He's skeptical of the tuneecu maps, because he doesn't know who's mapping them, and the ambient weather where the maps come from.
The bike will adapt to ambient conditions including temperature and air pressure. TuneECU has more cells than PCV and so it is possible to tune better with it. I have a good tune in my ECU, done by PowerTripp, but I also have PCV with AT as I changed my exhaust and intake since the bike was tuned. The combination of a good base tune, and the the work of the AT has given me a good result. I removed the AT and locked down the PCV tune. The bike's ECU now makes suitable adjustments for environment and ambient conditions.
