Does Ramair Proof Exist?

When I first got my bike it had Staintune exhaust with crossover so not a high performance exhaust by any means. The rest of the bike was 100% stock. I had a dyno done and got 126hp. The guy then put on the triple pods and the dyno was 137hp. With a tune it went to 142hp. I think this is something you want to know.

In Oct 2013 Power-Tripp was sent a filter by Ramair for evaluation but, to my knowledge, he has not posted his opinion about that filter. Has anyone talked to him about the filter and learned his opinions about it?

Previous page, post#14 contains a quote from Nevilles report on the evaluation of the Ramair compared to the K&N 2780's and the much larger K&N 1770's

From what I know from folk who know him - Wayne has more important issues on his mind.

It will add around 20RWHP, on mine it was just over 21RWHP once tuned by Nev Lush, if you search my posts you will find the Dyno sheet

Claiming the 20RWHP as due to the filter presumes that Neville Lush is not able to achieve any gains by retuning a bike with the stock filter. I say that is not only incorrect, it's also a little insulting. The filter perhaps allows you to get more out of your engine, but the filter itself doesn't do it. I could put a filter the size of a dust bin on my bike and it no doubt would flow better than the one I have but unless my engine could make us of the extra flow it would be a completely pointless exercise.

Sorry @CanberraR3, you are correct, I don't assume that the 20HP was from the change of filter, while it let the beast breath easier I would attribute 90% or more of the HP gain to Neville's magic touch. As I said in my previous post, the gain was made "once tuned by Nev Lush"
