Does anyone here use a ride app on their smart phone?

Wow. Paper map and a beer and nine times out of ten we get there. The 1% of the time we get lost has turned out to be a lot of fun. I still really like the opening scene in the movie easy rider where the guy tosses his watch before taking off. Just food for thought.

Since buying a few tickets to the Policemans ball I have started using Sygic Speed Camera app (and subscribing to updates). I have my phone on a handle bar mount and sometimes connect with bluetooth headset to ensure I am aware of speed and light cameras as well as school zones.

Not sure where you live and ride, but I could see where that might be a good idea in some areas. Out here in the western US, there are stretches of highway where you can ride "balls to the walls" and never worry about such restrictions. This is quite common where I live. We usually know where both cops are.

Live just outside Melbourne and commute daily across the city (approx 100ks each way). Plenty of wide open spaces but of late more restrictions ( money makers) are being put in place.

You had to go through all that to find 3 or 4 blokes ???

I use Googlemaps with my bluetooth headset. I like the sexy female voice. I call her Agness.
